Any car is a good car now days, that person with the Skoda comment tell me what do you think about VW is or better yet BMW's.... Same supplier so shows how ridiculously ignorant some people are.

The older ones had less power and the sport you mention only has 172hp. There are a lot of cars with less power though. sorry im in the ..do not wa not you to think bad of my country, not everyone needs a fast car but l wo not settle for less than a v6 with 300hp and l will take all the power l can get.

ps if it can not burn rubber its not a real car

People have long memories, they remember cars like the 9, 11, 19, 21 and Safrane. Current Renaults are a world away from those cars but there you go, that is life.

its coz the build quality has never been that good, they feel cheaply made, and if you do have a 16v Clio you wait till you get the bill to change the belts, as their designed it so poorly they have to drop the sub frame, and then the whole engine out to change them, so a 30 min max job take 16+ hours

i am not saying they are not fun to drive, but they are a nightmare to own

Renaults are known in the trade as '' soft '' cars as they do not handle high mileage well. Clios seem to be ok but lagunas and the espace are particularly bad. Problems include brake faliure, suspension faults, engine management problems, electrical gremlins. My employers along with another few companies l know, removed renault from the list of cars available to their company car drivers due to the amount of time lost while the vehicles were off the road being mended.

Renault is r great cars, yes OK they have had reliability issues but what a lot of people do not realise is that some of the technology they have used on their cars has been at the fore front & used way before manufacturers such as BMW & Mercedes.
And this crap u hear about them being hard to work on.!! What the.!! l have worked on them for twelve years & have never had a problem, maybe it is all to do with peoples attitude towards the job that is the problem.

l have owned several Renault is & they have all been great, at the end of the day do not knock it until u have tried it.!!

THANK YOU!

l share your exact opinion. l have owned Renaults for ten years and they have never let me down. Why waste money on a BMW or Honda?

l am currently driving a Mégane which has a full glass roof, a key which the car senses l have, so l just press the button to start it, and a full leather interior. Where is all this in a BMW 3-Series?

Safety record kills everyone elses too.

Fantastic cars
