Hl Everyone l have just bought a renault laguna 2.0L but it has done 159,000 Miles, It Has No Problems Runs Very Well. It has benn serviced Regularly and Passed MOT Recently Im Just Wandering If Somebody Can tell me how much Longer l can expect the car to go on for It Is a 1998 R Reg By the Way

it will run somewhere between 159,001 and 789,542 miles

Time & mileage r only relevant as a guide.

Servicing & actually replaced parts r the key. Regular oil & filter changes. Rust taken care of on the bodywork before it takes hold.

Care for the tyres, interior & parts fixed before they break.

If the car has been looked after & fixed it can last indefinately.

As it gets older though more parts will break & it will become harder to keep on top of problems.

l think u should get a good few more miles yet!

Hello! First of all, well done for buying a Laguna! l had a 2.2d & had 108,000 miles on it when l part exchanged it (in perfect condition) for a new Laguna. Well, l did a bit of research & found a Laguna in mint condition with the same engine as yours, with 195,000 miles! Click on the website below to have a look (6th one down). As l was searching l noticed that ALL the old shape Lagunas had over 100,000 on them - proof of a great car!
