its a 97 megan. the hood worked fine then one day the hood failed to open it just bleeps at me l have taken it to 4 garages now know one can find a problem so l took it to renault they had a look and could not find the problem so they said they need it for roughly 3 days to completly strip it down only problem is you can imagine how much that is going to cost me. my partner has said he will strip it and take a look so has anyone got any ideas because my car is now worthless and im really worried

l would say that if the car is not worth a lot of money & the repair is going to cost more that the cars value then do not pay for the repair.

Just get a new car if it works out cheaper. l had an old car once & it needed £500 of repairs on it, it was only worth about £300 so l ditched the car & get another one for £300 lasted a couple of years & saved me £200 :)
