Although l have small hands, there is insufficient space fo me to turn the lamp holder for removal. Does anyone know if there is a special way to do it. ( l am reluctant to pay £36 at the dealer) . Your help would be much appreciated

I've never opened up the bonnet of a Clio but I've changed bulbs on small cars before...
Your best bet would be to try & take out the battery if it is in the way, two clips & it is free.. l also had to move the fusebox a little by taking out a couple bolts...Really easy, a socket set & you're laughing, £15 in Halfords

Like l said I've never opened up a Clio is bonnet so l do not know what is actually in the way, but £36 to put a couple bulbs in is really taking the mickey.
Know anyone mechanically minded that could give u a hand if you're unsure?

l thought the same as you and then looked at removing the whole headlight cluster, but as that proved more difficult then l though l had another go at it and then after a while found l could do it,.sounds funny but once you have done it once, it is dead easy afterwards.
