2 ideas & since u r broke, both r free!!

First idea - When u get in ur car, do not start the engine immediately, first turn the key so all the dash indicators light up. Wait a few seconds for ALL the relevant lights to go out & only then turn ur key to start the engine. Reason for this is because it takes the immobiliser time to disarm, if u try to start ur engine too soon the immobiliser is still part active ( l have experienced this with my Clio, but now l wait a few seconds l do not get the problem any more ).

Second idea - my girlfriend had a similar problem with her Micra. Sometimes she could get it to start & sometimes not at all. In her case sometimes fuel must have been still leaking into the engine when it was parked, when she would try to start the engine it would not because it was flooded. The way to overcome this is to take the fuel pump fuse out & turn the engine over, this will clear it of the excess fuel, the car may even then start, but will go out, because no fuel is being pumped to it. Then replace the fuse & try to start it again.

Good luck
