does anyone know if l can turn off airbags on the passenger seat of my W reg laguna? l need to have my daughters car seat in the front but can not with the airbags as they are a threat to little ones. failing that can l get them removed??

Its ilegal to have a child under 14 years old in the front of a car.

check your owners manual.most cars these days are capable of switching off Passenger airbags.on a pug its on the r/h side of the searing wheel,some are in the glove box,others are on the l/h side of the dash ,You may see it when You open the door.

There is no switch to turn off the airbag, you can take it to the dealer and ask to remove or deconfigure it but most dealer are unwilling to do this in case you sell the car and pass on the info to the next owner. If you disconnect the connector under the front seat so the airbag light come on this disables the air bag system and will require resetting at the dealer with is costly
