there is a warning light on my car-renault clio, petrol

a warning light comes up as l drive, not all time but l cannot find info on wot it is and if l need get sorted right away. it says there is an operational system fault, looks like a box with a heartbeat lines inside it.

sorry dont know name of it. can u plz give me info on it as l cant find a good website.ty.

it means its running out of petrol. you need to put some more in, you do not have to do it straight away, its just a warning.

First answer is a link to a virus.
It is an engine management warning light, you need to get the car plugged in for diagnostics at a garage (it does not need to be a Renault dealer) to find out what is wrong.

It might be petrol, l allow about 40 miles before filling up once light comes on (but sometimes l have about 60 left). l am not entirely sure if this is related but sometimes l accidentally leave the handbrake on slightly this also triggers a warning light but l think this is an exclamation mark! Probably best to consult your manual or your local Renault dealer to be sure!

It is the engine management light. the vehicles engine management system will allow the engine to run using default settings (limp home mode) in the computers memory until you get it repaired, but the engine may not run as economically as it usually does.
