it only happens when l put it in reverse soon as l let clutch up and it starts moving there is a fairly loud sort of ''snapping'' sort of sound and it sounds like its something caught up and when it moves it breaks free and smacks against the floorpan or the chassis or something but puzzled at what it could be? l use the car a lot so l need to know if its a possible disaster situation waiting to happen, already had a throtle cable die on me once this month already!

possible disaster situation so take it to a shop so it can be puty up and lift and look at best way to know what it is your hearing

probbley the exhaust heat shield or your bottom engine mouting both common on the renaults.. get it checked out asap

could be a frozen hand break that is to say the mechanism may need some maintenance
