l need to find out if I am able to replace the gear knob on a Renualt Megane 1.4 rt sport x reg as it very warn.
piggyback if it was that simple l would not be here asking you guys.

Twist and thump! There is no screw thread on the gear knob but it will have been 'lock-tighted' at the factory. Bear in mind that the lower end of the stick is joined to a movable/breakable part.
