my revs drop n sometimes engine cuts out whenever l dip the clutch sounds electrical to me anyone else had this problem wiv their laguna any help is much appreciated

Hiya, im not too sure if this will solve your problem but l had this problem with a VW Golf and it was due to a faulty Idle speed regulation valve, the best thing to do is to take it to a garage have them test and tell you what the fault is. They have a little computer deely (i dont know what it is called) that they can plug into your car which gives readouts of all the voltages, mixes and everything so this will likely sniff out your problem very quickly.

the idle speed regulator is fubard. Get a new one fitted.

sounds like the idle control valve, but cleaning them does not usually help in the long term, but it is worth a try. if u decide to replace it then there is a procedure for setting it up. Disconnect the battery before fitting the new valve, after fitting the new one reconnect the battery & run the engine for 15 Min is with the electrical system loaded, lights, heater fan, rear heated screen etc on. after that then u turn all the electrics back off & leave the engine to idle for another 15 minutes. the idle valve is set
