I've read that its an engine out job to change the spark plugs {and so you do the timing belt, clutch plate and water pump at the same time.}

l got a figure from a Renault dealer, it costs the best part of £2k for the 72,000 mile service at a Renault dealer.

The current Espace {series 4} with the 3.5 petrol V6 245 BHP engine{as used in the Nissan 350} has been on sale since about 2003, so not that many will have done this mileage yet?

Has anyone any got a 3.5 Esapce that had this work done, if so, wot did it cost u?

Was this at a Renault dealer, or an independant workshop?

no idea, sorry, but can tell you this.
friend had a Renault what ever it was, headlamp failed, under warranty took it in.

bloke put it on car lift, took front wheel off

friend said , its only come in for a new lamp...

dealer man, obviously you have not tried to change a head light lamp then, this is how its done.

my point is Renault is seem to have no room to do things, and main dealers will always charge a fortune

yes engine out on early mk4 espace but have changed to timing belts, but on the latest ones so does not need changing because they have chains
And it is best part of £1800 to do a 72,000 service because of belts and spark plugs as engine needs to come out to change these aswell. i
