Renault UK are asking £50 for a rear wiper arm for an Espace. l was wondering if parts would be cheaper from Reanult France and how l would go about buying directly from Reanult France.

it would be cheaper then the cost of post and package would make it dearer pay the £50 or try breakers yard is your best option try FINDAPART.CO.UK

if they sold it to you ( l doubt it, bit like asking ford for a part, go to a dealers mate)

you then will have to pay import duty

yes They are very expensive in this country. l would visit a few scrap yards. Do a google search in your area on scrap yards and ring around. You can pay with a debit card and have it delivered if the scrap yard that has your part is miles away.

get 1 from a place like halords or a motorists discount shop

You would be free of import duty as it is within the EU.
Prices may vary but the difference would probably be less than the added postage. Try asking for 10% discount. All parts counters serve the public and trade, and very commonly add discounts if you ask (or annoy them enough).
A breakers /salvage yard should get the part for £5/10. (What ever they say, offer half)

yes,l we went on holiday to France and bought Renault parts while we were there. If you buy direct then the cost of postage and packing will be high and you need to be sure that it is the right part.
Try a breakers yard or ebay to get what you want.
