l have an X reg (year 2000) Renault Clio and this morning l opened it ok with the key, pressing the button but when l got to work and tried to lock it, it would not work.Locking each door individually now and interior light wo not go off even though all doors are shut.This happened once before and l got a new battery for the key but that was not the problem.A friend told us a way of resetting the central locking which worked last time.(You turn the key to the lock position on drivers side and hold for 30 secs)He said it can take up to 24 hours to work.If this does not work, does anyone else have any ideas what l can try??

you can reset the key fob by pressing the two buttons on the key alternativly a few times
