can anyone help im trying to find my timing marks, l have a haynes manual but the marks in book are not on my car
please help

if your car is a 8 valve model engine the mark on crank can only be seen when pulley is removed and the mark on cam shaft pulley is on there may be difficult to see without cam covers removed you are meant to see it through little at top of cover but its not the best. far easier when cover removed which you will need to when changing belt any way. no timing tools are needed you can do do it without if you are confident. hope that helps
