the immobiliser must be on i.e light flashing
press & hold central door locking button down count the immobiliser light flashes 5 times (if ur code was 5 4 3 2 say ) then let go, press & hold down again for 4 & let go press & hold down for 3 flashes, let go press & hold down for 2 flashes & let go the light will be solid now & u can start car if u want but don't. to do key fob within 25 seconds of entering code press & hold central door locking button again & keep down the doors will lock & unlock then let go of button & point key fob at infra red eye up by interior mirror & press fob at least 3 times very quickly but firm & its done
