l locked my key in my 01 renault laguna, how can l break into it without causing much damage?

pay a locksmith or pay Triple A to open it for you.

It will be cheapest to call a locksmith who can get into cars
A lot cheaper than replacing a window (and cleaner too)

Wind down the window.

call AAA

call a locksmith..

Use a coat hanger to jimmy the lock.
Works everytime.. well, most of the time.

get a hanger and a small piece of wood to wedge your door open. Make the hanger into a hook or pointer to unlock your doors promptly

l heard if you get a coat hanger and bend it into a hook then stick it down the rubber part at the bottom of the window, you can pull the lock up. never tried it though.

hammer, no just kidding call your local law enforcement and they will unlock you for no charge or you can call a dealer of this car give them the vin number and also have to show proof of insurance o nthe car and they can cut you another key to the car.

If you have an electronic key (the ones that beep when you press it to unlock). l have read that if someone at home has a spare electronic key to the car as well, you can call them and have them press the unlock button next to the phone. Apparently if you hold the phone close to the car it will unlock the door.

Not sure if it is true but its worth a try first. After that, just call a locksmith

l think you can buy a slim-jim (its what lock smiths use to unlock your car when you lock your keys in). call some local auto shops and ask them if they one and if they dont then ask them where to find one..if not then you should be able to find it on the internet (the internet thing doesnt help right now.sorry). If you want to break in.pull out the weather stripping and pull the latch.

call out the AA etc.. they can get into it for you IF your a member or call out a lock smith.

you not got a spare set? get someone to bring you them

failing that break the glass on a SMALL panel of the car

if you are in a motoring organisation they will be able to onen the door free?? especially if you have home start

get a new key

You know what be a good idea since you've only one key and it is in the vehicle try if you've the ownership to call the dealership and tell them you've lost your key and need a new one made up.Why spend extra cash on AA etc when you can use that 50.00 to purchase a extra key.

If you have breakdown cover use that, if you dont l would sign up to one of them as its always a good idea to have breakdown cover, does not take long to get into most cars with a good set of tools, l could tell you how to do it but im not allowed on here as l could loose my licence to open cars if l get reported.

If it is one of the new models with a keycard then part of the keycard opens the lock, if you look at the front passenger door there is a flap which can be flicked up (it is got a key symbol on it) , pull out the bottom of the keypad and this acts as a key for the door. Hope this helps!

All we do is pry the door a little (hardly any damage at all!) and we can actually unlock the door using a slim, flat steel.
