The boot is now always unlocked. About two days ago it would not unlock at all. Im not sure whether ive got two problems or one, mechanical or electrical. Having been able to get the boot open, every time l open the boot now l have to flick the small black lever behind the tailgate locking catch to enable it to catch when l close it again. Either way it wont lock when l use the key fob. Anyone else had a similar problem or any suggestions.

Suspect 2 problems. Removal of trim is fairly easy and l expect the solenoid motor is at fault. It should operate on recerving a pulsed 12v. Small fingers an advantage.
