Hi, My Renault Grand Scenic has a problem with its aircon - any help appreciated

The blowers and aircon work but only on setting one - when l turn the dial to 2,3 or 4 it cuts out and strangely the car engine starts to judder a bit.as soon as it is put back to 1 the engine sounds fine again and l hear the blowers and feel the air con.What do you think is wrong?

Take it to a Renault dealer, they will soon sort it out.

ring a company that just deals with car air con gas. they should sort it

this is quite a serious fault. it is a specialist repair. the air bag computer will need to be locked. then the dashboard removed. the heater motor resistor AND the wiring loom to it need to be replaced. do NOT try this your self.
