I've recenlt passed my test and my mum has given me her Renault Megane 1.8 Privilege+! It has a trip computer in the instrument cluster for mileage, time travelled, avg.speed, mpg etc. When l select the fuel remaining setting (plus a few others - not sure of the exact ones) all l get is a flashing line of dots - - - - - and nothing ever comes up no matter how long l leave it displayed. The handbook says to contact my nearest dealer, but just wondered if there was an easy fix?Or has the computer had it?

if you have less than anout 60 miles worth fuel left in tank, it will show the '----'. try puting some more fuel in.
