theres 2 on the rev counter, its the right hand one - a orange box with pipes coming out of it, or thats what it looks like anyway...
It comes on occasionly, and the car is also jolting quite horribly, with a dodgy sound coming from the exhaust.
Its 1 8 Privilege + petrol.
ANy ideas?
The Mystery unfolds. Now l think about it, it could be the Ig. coils causing this problem?
i just went in the boot to get my socket set out, and noticed a pair of ignition coils sitting in the boot cubbyhole. spares or problem in the past perhaps?

its saying there is a problem with the engine management most likely caused by failing sensors on either exhaust emissions or the engine position/rev sensor.


most likely rev/positions sensor as l had a 1.6 megane that had this every 2 years from new.

take it in now before it fails and you cant move as they can take a week to get the spares.
