hi, l have recently had my turbo collapse and it spwed oil all way through exhaust, l have just changed cat and turbo but i'm getting check injection sign on ma dash. when u start car it runs fine but then when this sign comes up it starts lacking power not good when overtaking.
renault have checked on computer but they dont see anything injectors were replaced not long ago.
this is second turbo this car has had in 3 years 1st on failed then second one went with a bang can anyone point me in a direction of what else could be slowing the car :banghead
i have now sorted it it was the egr valve when turbo collapsed they meant to of flushed all pipes and cleaned valve but they hadnt so l just doen it and now its running sweet as

The Renault is in general have many technical faults. You will have to reset the service warning lights, there is a sequence to follow that engineers use.

Try looking at the EGR valve. l had a 1.5dci Clio that had a similar problem with lack of power. My local garage said at the time that nothing was wrong, but it later transpired that this is a common problem with Renault diesels. When it was changed l had no problems at all.
It may not explain the turbo failure, but it may help out.
