Today my 2001 Renault Megane Scenic developed a fault.

A yellow engine warning light began to flash, and the car started to judder and lose power.

l only had it serviced last month so this came as a bit of a shock. When the nice chap from Green Flag arrived he had a quick look and said he was 80% sure it was a Coil Pack fault. He then towed me home.

Can anyone tell me how much l can be expected to pay to have this repaired? Last year the cam belt went and it cost me £1000 at mates rates! I am hoping this wo not be too expensive as funds are lacking this month!

These coil packs are available from any good spares supplier and the last time l fitted 1 to my own Scenic it cost me the grand total of £39, easy job too.
