It looks like its a simple case of undoing the nut on top of the base of the arm, but in my experience of reaults, things are rarely that simple....

After removing the nut you will need to gently prise the arm up, as it fits onto a spline which is also tapered and made of white metal which will have corroded.Take your time, and you will manage Im sure.Hope this helps
