When l was taking driving lessons l drove a clio and its a tiny car compare to the megane, now that l passe my test I am driving my dad is megane but l have no idea how to Parallel park and reverse and stuff. Can u tell me some general reference points you use when reversing?

A Megane works with the same principles as with a Clio.Do not let the size of the Megane scare you,it is just the same thing.if you can do it with a Clio,u can do it with a Megane.just practice a few times on an empty street,and you will get your reference points.good luck :)

my instructor gave me these tips. it works for most cars, but when u start driving really large cars, u need to alter.

pull along side the car u r parking behind u u r completely level with it. start to reverse, & when ur front side window is in line with the rear window of the car u r beside, start turning into the space (full lock). then, when ur front wing is in line with the rear of the other car, turn the wheel the other way. & u r in.

it will take a fair bit of practice. u wont get it over night. try it on quiet streets first, where the gap between cars is quite large. then, as u get more confident, start parking in smaller spaces.
